How to run POS payments
POS supports keypad mode for fast custom totals and products mode for cart-based checkout.
Before you start
- Choose the receiving account first.
- If using products mode, check products and prices are up to date.
- Keep your POS device visible to both staff and customer.
Expected result
You generate a checkout QR in seconds, customer pays, and POS confirms before you move to the next order.
Exact steps
Menu path: Dashboard → POS.

Open Dashboard and click POS.

Confirm your receiving account for this checkout session.

Select the receiving bank account.

Choose mode: Keypad (manual amount) or Products (cart checkout).

If in Keypad mode, enter the amount to charge.

If in Products mode, add items to cart and adjust quantities.

Optional: add custom line items or discounts before confirming total.

Click Generate QR for payment.

Ask customer to scan and complete payment on their phone.

Wait for payment success confirmation, then click reset/new sale for next customer.
When to use each mode
Keypad mode
Best for speed and variable totals (market stalls, quick service, ad-hoc pricing).
Products mode
Best for itemised sales, repeat menus, and reporting by product.
