Meet the team
We're Jim and Julie, a husband-and-wife team from New Zealand building a better way to get paid.
We built Tillify because getting paid shouldn't be complicated. Too many small businesses, market stalls, clubs and community groups are stuck with clunky hardware, expensive terminals, or chasing up manual bank transfers. We thought there had to be a simpler way.
Jim is a Senior Software Engineer who builds things that are fast, reliable and easy to use. Julie has a finance background and years of experience in business consulting and procurement. She makes sure everything actually makes sense for real people running real businesses.
Tillify uses New Zealand's open banking to let anyone accept instant, verified payments. No card terminal, no app download, no monthly fees. Just a QR code and a phone.
